Sandyford Properties, the UK multi-let industrial property company, has sold a non-core office asset in Stoke-on-Trent to a company for its new headquarters.
Whittle Court, which comprises units 3-6 at the Town Road business park in Hanley, has been acquired by NLC Group of Companies, a creator and manufacturer of decorative lighting, homewares and small domestic home appliances. The space, which totals 7,400 sq ft, was formerly the headquarters of Brighter Futures, a provider of social housing and supported accommodation.
Sandyford has also sold the freehold of the common parts and the car parking at the business park to MK2 Property Management, the park’s property manager, which enables it to exit the site in full.
Paul Brindley, managing director of Sandyford Properties, commented: “The sale of the site is consistent with Sandyford’s strategy to become a pure multi-let industrial property company. Following the sale 95% of the rent roll comprises industrial property”.
Sandyford was advised by Mounsey Chartered Surveyors on the transaction and by Davitt Jones Bould on the legal side.
