Sandyford Properties, the UK multi-let industrial property company, has completed the sale of Mount Industrial Estate in Stone, Staffordshire, to a private buyer in an off-market transaction.
Mount Industrial Estate comprises 82,857 sq ft of multi-let industrial space across 18 units. Its current occupiers include Warburtons and Kids Planet Day Nursery.
The asset was one of Sandyford’s first industrial acquisitions and the sale represents the successful conclusion of the company’s business plan for the estate, as it continues its strategy to re-focus its portfolio to modern, purpose-built industrial assets in strategic locations across the North West and Midlands. The business is actively looking for opportunities to invest in attractive sites throughout these regions.
Paul Brindley, managing director of Sandyford Properties, said: “Mount Industrial Estate was one of our very first industrial estates and has been within the business for a long time. During this time, many local businesses have located to and flourished within the estate – we wish them all the very best for the future.
“This sale represents another step in our strategy to refine our portfolio to purpose-built, fully industrial properties within the North West and Midlands. We look forward to completing further acquisitions in these regions later this year”.
Sandyford was advised by BA Commercial and Davitt Jones Bould.
