Sandyford Properties welcomes new Financial Controller to support continued growth
Commercial property specialist Sandyford Properties has welcomed a new role to the business, which is being filled by experienced Financial Controller, Sally Woodward.
Sally has a background in finance spanning over two decades and has spent a large amount of her career working in the manufacturing sector. She has joined Sandyford Properties, which is in a period of significant growth, to support its ongoing successes and provide increased management information and financial control as the business continues to scale.
Managing Director, Paul Brindley, said: “The size and complexity of the company is growing and so we’re investing in the business to facilitate that.
“Sally showed a curiosity and ability to be analytical and commercial with financial information. She will be a great asset to the business and will support decision making in the company.”
Beginning her career in finance over 20 years ago, Sally has worked in a range of industries, including the charity sector but has honed her skills working in manufacturing. She progressed to Financial Controller position 12 years ago and has supported previous businesses in financial and strategic decision making.
Sally commented: “I’m really enjoying my time with Sandyford Properties so far. I’m really impressed with the business model and strategy and I’m looking forward to supporting its further growth through analytical and strategic decision making.
“I’d started looking around for a new job because I’d worked in manufacturing predominantly for most of my career and wanted a change. I saw this opportunity with Sandyford Properties and thought it sounded interesting.
“I’ve done a lot of strategic management work in my previous roles and that’s something I’m interested in doing at Sandyford Properties. I love bringing the numbers to life and seeing how they can influence decision making.”
Paul added: “We’re thrilled to be creating a new job and to welcome Sally on-board. It’s another building block that provides us with the ability to further expand. It also means we can have greater control over the business and make better investment decisions.”
When Sally isn’t engulfed in numbers, she can be found in the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, biking with her family or at a rock concert.
