Sandyford Properties has partnered with IWG, the world-leading operator in flexible workspaces to offer businesses in Chester a range of managed and serviced offices. The strategic partnership supports the growing demand for hybrid working solutions, expands the group’s current investments and evolves the already established business community in Chester. Formerly known as Red Hill House, the offices have been rebranded as Basepoint Business Centre and will now be managed by IWG.

When approached by IWG, Sandyford Properties’ Managing Director, Paul Brindley, recognised the exciting opportunity available for flexible office space in Chester. The current Red Hill House occupiers will have access to impressive facilities and support services managed by industry leaders. Customers will also have the opportunity to utilise IWG’s global network, including the right to use its other wide range of offices spread around the UK and across the globe.

Paul Brindley commented: “Working with IWG provides an exciting new opportunity for our site at Saltney. Local businesses and people now have access to a flexible workspace on the doorstep in their community, provided by the world leaders in hybrid working.”

“It’s great to see the potential in suburban buildings like ours being recognised by such a renowned global brand, providing local workers with a convenient alternative to long commutes or working at home.”

Basepoint Business Centre is located in Saltney, Chester which is a prime location for residents and a commercial hotspot for businesses. Offering 38,000 sq. ft. of space, the impressive site showcases 50 private offices, 7 workshops, numerous meeting rooms and convenient parking facilities. The first of its kind in the North, the centre’s complete suite of services, including 24/7 access and high-speed internet, allows businesses to fully embrace this flexible, greener and more productive way of working.

Mark Dixon, CEO and Founder of IWG, said: “Workers have experienced the benefits of hybrid working and now want somewhere to work close to home to get the benefits of working in an office but without the hassle of a long commute. For several decades, we have been at the forefront of hybrid working, empowering people to work more productively and conveniently, and giving workers everything they need within 15 minutes of their homes, including office space.”

Data from IWG shows demand for workspaces in locations outside of city centres has continued to grow strongly in 2022. The number of enquiries for space in IWG locations continues to increase with a 36% rise since January.

Sandyford Properties is continually looking to expand its property portfolio, partner with long-term property investors and assist potential new occupiers. Its reputation within the industry offers a reliable and stable property solution for businesses of all sizes.
