Sandyford Properties is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucy Diprose to the newly created Head of Property Management role to support the Group’s expansion plans.

The new role supports the group’s strategic expansion and its aim to more than double its multi-let portfolio over the next five years

Lucy will initially manage Sandyford Properties’ 1.4m sqft portfolio and provide a first point of contact for over 400 tenants. Part of Lucy’s remit will include asset management, maintenance of property sites, tenant relationships and managing contracts.

Bringing ten years of commercial knowledge to the firm, Lucy will help to streamline the processes already in place at Sandyford. In her previous position as Head of Operations, Lucy oversaw major refurbishment projects and was the lead on continuous improvement programmes. She has also supported national corporations in their venture for new office space. Her experience of operating directly with global franchises, managing large-scale property portfolios and overseeing multi-million-pound rent rolls, helps the group in its ambition to maximise investment value.

Commenting on her new role, Lucy said: “I’m thrilled to be a part of the supportive and growing team at Sandyford Properties. The group’s long-standing reputation coupled with its plans for rapid development in the next five years, made this career move hugely appealing.

“It’s a great time to be joining the company and an amazing opportunity to deepen my knowledge within the light industrial sector of commercial property.

“I’m eager to embrace this new responsibility, to lead the property management function of the business and to continue to build on the close working relationship between Sandyford Properties and its occupiers.

“I intend to be an integral part of Sandyford Properties’ growth strategy and look forward to supporting the group in its continued success.”

Paul Brindley, Managing Director of Sandyford Properties said: “Lucy joins us at an exciting time for Sandyford as we continue to expand in the North West and East Midlands. The role will oversee the development of an operational group within Sandyford of which property management will form an important part.

“Myself and the rest of the team at Sandyford are looking forward to working with her in this new role.”

“This is a great hire and completes the search for this important position within the operational side of the business,” said David Carter, Sandyford Properties Chair.
