Sandyford lets three multi-let industrial units in Chester
Sandyford Properties, the UK multi-let industrial property company, has let 47,134 sq ft of newly-refurbished space in three separate transactions in Saltney, an established industrial location west of Chester.
JP Recycling has taken Brymau 6, a 15,700 sq ft unit, Autoglass has taken the 7,250 sq ft unit 2 at Brymau 2 and Inflatabubble, a children’s inflatable play operator, has taken units 3 and 4, totalling 24,184 sq ft, at Brymau 2.
The Brymau 2 and 6 estates were previously occupied by a food manufacturer, The English Provinder Company, and were refurbished after the company left. One unit of 7,250 sq ft is still available and is being marketed by Legat Owen and B8 Real Estate.
The Brymau estates are located on River Lane in Saltney and were acquired by Sandyford from Brymau Estates in March 2021. In total, the acquisition gave Sandyford four industrial estates and two flexible workspace sites, totalling 230,000 sq ft, and expanded Sandyford’s geographical exposure beyond Staffordshire.
Sandyford was advised by Legat Owen and B8 Real Estate with legal advice from Hill Dickinson. JPD Recycling was advised by Jolliffe & Co LLP, Autoglass was advised by Alps Group and Nexa Law and Inflatabubble was advised by Winkworth Sherwood.
Paul Brindley, managing director of Sandyford Properties, said: “These three lettings reflect the strength and variety of demand for industrial space in Saltney and endorse our value-add strategy of refurbishing well-located units when they become vacant”.
