There’s a reason our occupiers at Red Hill House, Chester stay for many years.
The large business centre is filled with a wide range of companies, all of whom our friendly on-site staff know by name.
Meet the three lovely ladies that keep things ship shape at Red Hill House Business Centre. Debbie Millington, Jenny Balfour, and Tanya Williams.
Estates and Business Centres Manager, Debbie has a varied role. Day to day Debbie deals with issues, tenant queries, health and safety, rotas, new enquiries, general maintenance, locating new premises for occupiers, negotiations and much more.
A lot of the occupiers at Red Hill House take advantage of the managed reception offered by Debbie and her team. They take calls on their behalf, offer a postage service, photocopying, typing or any kind of business services they require. They also have access to a great coffee machine!
Debbie’s been at Red Hill House for 27 years, so knows the operation like the back of her hand.
She said: “Myself, Jenny and Tanya work well together as a team and we have a great relationship with the occupiers.
“I think our tenants appreciate the services we offer. They’re exactly what each occupier requires, we don’t force additional services on people.
“What’s great about Red Hill House, is we keep up to date with new technology which the tenants benefit from. We’re about to install a new telephone and broadband system, however one tenant doesn’t need it so we won’t force him to have it. We’re very flexible.
“We also send out regular questionnaires out so we can improve based on our occupiers’ wants and needs.
“I think we offer a reasonable price for what we provide.”
Business Support Co-ordinator, Jenny has been at Red Hill House for over 30 years. She looks after the units in Saltney, Chester, lease renewals, rent reviews and generally takes care of the occupiers.
You might also occasionally see Jenny on reception.
She loves the atmosphere at Red Hill House and she and the team pride themselves on offering a friendly and welcoming reception.
Jenny said: “If our occupiers want something they can come to us and we’ll help. Everyone knows one another here which is lovely. We have a nice little community. We like to make sure everyone sees a friendly face and they can expect a smile or hello when they pass us.
“We have great relationships with the occupiers. You get to know them, their business, their clients.”
Tanya is the friendly face our occupiers see on reception at Red Hill House. She’s also a long-standing employee with 15 years at the business centre under her belt.
She said: “I enjoy meeting and greeting visitors for the companies in the building.
“The tenants stay here quite a while and I think it’s because we offer a friendly, professional service. We get to know them and I believe they see us as approachable. People appreciate the personal touch, like remembering their names, making time for little chats with them, we get to know more about their personal lives which is lovely.”
At Sandyford Properties, we’re aware that the personal touch is what makes all the difference for our occupiers. We all spend a lot of time at work, so creating a welcoming and friendly environment for our residents is important to us. If our team can do a little extra to help make our occupiers’ day a little better, then we will do it.
