New acquisition: Riverside Industrial Estate Rugeley

We’re excited to be able to add a new location and a new estate to the Sandyford portfolio. We hope to use this as a base to expand further in the area and to be able to offer a greater choice to our occupiers.

Sandyford Properties has completed the off-market acquisition of Riverside Industrial Estate, a prominent purpose built multi-let industrial estate in Rugeley comprising 50,000sqft of quality accommodation across 24 units.

The Power Station Road site had been in private ownership for 29 years and forms part of Sandyford Properties’ long term growth plans for the area.

The commercial property business space provider is also proposing to invest in site-wide improvements with plans to update the fabric and appearance of the estate.

James Lewis of Sandyford Properties said: “Riverside is an excellent addition to our portfolio. The estate offers functional workspace at affordable rents and is let to a wide range of local occupiers. This is our second acquisition in 2021 and we hope there will be more to follow.”

Sandyford were represented by Andrew Hartley of Andrew Dixon & Co, and Richard Saum of Ansons Solicitors.

Sandyford Properties lease commercial properties across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire and offers a reactive property maintenance service from its base in Hanley, at the heart of the properties they manage.
